Why:
Go Green Expo is a showcase for earth-friendly products and services. It is the brainchild of Bradford Rand, who created the idea of a trade show that wholly focused on green living. Bradford’s idea would include a wide range of products, services, speakers and panelists, within the green community.
The success of the initial launch in April 2008 in New York City, led him to follow up with this years’ event by including other cities to the roster – Philadelphia, Atlanta, and of course Los Angeles.
The three day event opens its doors on opening day, January 23 to the trade, by offering an opportunity for a Business-to-Business Expo. That evening there will be a launch cocktail reception at Whole Life Times Office co-hosted by Green Business Networking (http://www.greenbusinessnetworking.com/aboutus).
The event is open on Saturday and Sunday, to both business buyers and consumers for a mere $10 for a full weekend pass.
The event not only touts being the only one of its kind, but the venue, The Los Angeles Convention Center, is the first convention center, of its size and age, in the U.S. to receive a LEED® Existing Building Certification.
What makes this event, that much more GREEN, is that it is partially powered naturally by the sun – thanks to SolaRover!
